The Minnesota Lynx’s latest addition is simply signing deals left and right.
She already was the latest free agent to make a move to the Twin Cities. She is also further entrenched into the e-sports industry as well – one which she mentioned on numerous occasions during her opening press conference with Minnesota.
Powers has signed a sponsorship deal with HyperX, a gaming headset and keyboard company. The new pact makes HyperX the “official gaming audio sponsor of Aerial Powers” and she will utilize its headsets while gaming and/or streaming.

It is the latest boss move Powers has made in the e-sports space. She recently inked deals with Ford Models to become part of its gaming division and Team Liquid to create content, spread its brand awareness and bring greater awareness to increasing diversity in gaming.
Team Liquid was also featured prominently at Powers’ introductory press conference with the Lynx.
