We are still a few months shy of the WNBA Draft, but it is never too early to whip out that mock draft board.

Just ask a few WNBA coaches and general managers, who were polled by the Associated Press on who they feel will be the top overall picks in this year’s draft.

As has been expected since a trio of South Carolina Gamecocks (Alaina Coates, Allisha Gray, Kaela Davis) were chosen in last year’s draft, those coaches and general managers believe A’ja Wilson will be taken with the first overall pick by the Las Vegas Aces.

Ohio State’s Kelsey Mitchell was predicted to go second to the Indiana Fever followed by Diamond Deshields, who played previously at Tennessee before going international, heading to Chicago. Rounding out the mock draft’s top 5 were Gabby Williams (UConn) to the Sky and Duke’s Lexie Brown heading to the Seattle Storm.
