As their alma mater, the South Carolina Gamecocks, prepare to take the court for the NCAA women’s basketball tournament, two former players that once donned the garnet and black are giving back a bit to the state that gave them their rise.

Allisha Gray, last year’s Rookie of the Year currently with the Dallas Wings, and Tiffany Mitchell who is with the Indiana Fever hosted a basketball camp this past weekend at Heathwood Hall in Columbia.
Heathwood Hall Episcopal School describes itself as a private, co-educational college prepatory school for children aged two to 12. The camp took place from 9a-2p this past Saturday and was available for children aged seven to 18.
Both Gray and Mitchell will soon be taking the court for their WNBA teams with the season commencing in just over two months. Dallas opens the regular season on the road at the Phoenix Mercury on May 18 and Indiana, the following day hosts the Chicago Sky.
