Advertisements have become as much a part of WNBA jerseys as the colors on said jerseys. Whether it is FanDuel and the New York Liberty, Equitrust and the Los Angeles Sparks, or Swedish and the Seattle Storm, jersey sponsor are now half recognizable and half infamous part of W on-court apparel.

Talking Stick Resort used to not only have the naming rights to the Phoenix Mercury’s home venue, they advertise on its jerseys. The Mercury announced that another of its longstanding sponsors, Fry’s Food Stores (Kroger subsidiary) will have its jersey on the Merc’s orange and purple jerseys this year.

PayPal also advertises on the Phoenix jerseys. According to the Phoenix Business Journal, they also advertise on a European soccer team owned by Robert Sarver (Mercury and Phoenix Suns owner).

Phoenix has had a marquee jersey partner since 2009, says a team release. LifeLock and Casino Arizona has also advertised on the Mercury uniforms.
