Charles Johnson, Dallas Wings’ Sr. VP of Corporate Partnerships, takes Seattle Mariners job

A Dallas Wings executive is taking his talents from the southwest to the Pacific Northwest.

Charles Johnson, who was the senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships with the Wings since 2017, is leaving his post with Dallas to take a job with the MLB’s Seattle Mariners as its Vice President of Corporate Partnerships.

He was also working with the Panther City Lacrosse League club, an expansion National Lacrosse League franchise also under the Bill Cameron/Wings umbrella. A Texas native, Johnson’s resume also includes stints with the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia 76ers and New York Yankees.

Seattle and Dallas-Fort Worth have a lot in common. It’s a great sports market and the fans really stand behind their teams.
