In news that should be a surprise to no one, the Minnesota Lynx have re-upped with coach and general manager Cheryl Reeve, keeping the four-time WNBA champion coach in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.
Since Reeve assumed the role of Lynx coach, Minnesota embarked on a 2010s dynasty with those four championships around Maya Moore, Lindsay Whalen, Sylvia Fowles, Seimone Augustus and Rebekkah Brunson.
The extension comes as the Lynx look to be a team that is transitioning into a new phase past the Moore-Whalen-Fowles-Brunson-Augustus era and into a new one around Napheesa Collier, the 2019 WNBA Rookie of the Year.

Minnesota finished with an 18-16 record in 2019 and were eliminated in the first round of that yearβs WNBA playoffs.
