Hoosier Santa?

The old saying is that the holiday season is about giving rather than receiving. The Indiana Fever along with the Indiana Pacers displayed that last week when they delivered 3,000 toys to children in Terre Haute, Indiana.

The Fever and Pacers are partnering with several organizations throughout the Hoosier State in organizing the toy drives. The two teams have partnered on the “Season of Giving” initiatives for a few years, but it is the first year the Fever and Pacers have done it on an Indiana-wide level.

A California-based toy manufacturer who also happens to know Pacers brass very well, are providing the toys, and have given more than 300,000 to children in Indiana.

The toy drive this year also includes Bloomington, Fort Wayne, Evanston, Muncie, and Lafayette.
