Gonzalez Twins Talk NCAA, Stereotypes, and Plans for the WNBA with Vice Sports

If you are a social media and sports junkie like we are, you’ve probably heard of Dylan “Dyl” and Dakota “‘kota” Gonzalez: twin high school standouts who now play for UNLV after playing for Kansas their freshman year. Despite their talent and skills on the court, the identical 6-foot guards are best known via social media, where over they have amassed as following of nearly 2 million people. Yes….each twin has nearly one million people who follow their daily adventures, studio sessions, and training and workout regimens that keep their INSANE bodies intact (Including Drake).

What is like juggling a growing social media empire and still playing the game that we love so much? Dyl and ‘kota recently went for a drive with Vice Sports as part of the media giant’s “Ride Along” series to answer that very question. In this clip below, the ladies talk very candidly about the struggles of building their brand while playing under the rules and restrictions that come with an NCAA contract. They also discuss whether the WNBA is on their radar in the future. Check it out below:
