If one may have followed the Chicago Sky’s social media accounts, #Skytown has been in the news quite a bit as of late.

The Sky pulled off a creative social media marketing campaign which was to announce the team’s new logo – along with new merchandise and a new court design in the works.

But what may have been on the brains of many Sky fans was if the team would hire a new coach after letting go of Amber Stocks after two struggling seasons following Elena Delle Donne’s departure to Washington post-2016.

Multiple reports have suggested that the Sky have concluded their find – resulting in James Wade following in Stocks’ stead as the next head coach and general manager.

Wade is a former assistant coach with the San Antonio Stars before he joined Cheryl Reeve’s coaching staff at the Lynx. He is also married to former player Edwige Lawson-Wade who is also a former Star along with stints with the Houston Comets, Seattle Storm, and New York Liberty.
