Those words can apply to one of two things – a new Michael Jordan-style “Wings”-esque billboard that was seen in downtown Minneapolis featuring Maya Moore.

It can also apply to this ad from Jordan Brand featuring Moore, one of the signature athletes under the Jordan Brand/Nike umbrella.

The advertisement, undoubtedly is an ultimate show of respect from His Airness to the woman who can be considered this generation’s women’s version of MJ.
As for the billboard in downtown Minneapolis, a few tweets on social media appear to indicate that said billboard was recently taken down – because the city of Minneapolis only approved it to be a pop-up billboard.
If so, perhaps someone within the city of Minneapolis needs to wake up and smell the coffee. Maya Moore is the most notable sports figure in the Twin Cities and is a role model for young girls everywhere. Just as young kids in Cleveland see the LeBron James billboard and get inspired by it, the same can be true for the Maya Moore billboard in downtown Minneapolis – particularly as it is the host city for this year’s All-Star Game.
In short – it should be restored.
