This comes as no surprise, but LeBron James is a huge aficionado of women’s basketball.

Over Labor Day weekend, he made a trip to the Phillipines – and held a training session with women b-ballers.

James answered questions while he was in Manila – particularly with Migs Bustos of ABS-CBN Sports Action where he once again professed his admiration and respect for the girls who got game.

Now, just watching Diana Taurasi and watching Sue Bird, watching Elena Delle Donne – just to name a few – those are some great inspirations.

So it doesn’t matter if you’re a male or female (player). I love to watch the game of basketball.

Of course, WNBA and women’s basketball fans everywhere still remember this particular snippet from his final press conference of last season – when the Cavaliers were defeated in the NBA Finals at the hands of the Golden State Warriors.

In other news surrounding men showing love to their women counterparts, the Phoenix Suns’ Devin Booker is buying 270 tickets for the Mercury’s playoff game on Wednesday vs. the Seattle Storm. Those tickets can be obtained on a first-come, first-serve basis for ASU students with valid student IDs.

Due to a scheduling conflict at Talking Stick Resort Arena, the game was moved to Wells Fargo Arena which is in Tempe and on the campus of Arizona State University.
