On Tuesday night, the Minnesota Lynx picked up their 25th victory of the season as they defeated the Los Angeles Sparks by a final of 77-74. The biggest headline of the night may not have been what the result was in the game, but what happened afterwards.

Rowe, for the past few months, has been fighting breast cancer, and went on television without a wig while covering the game—or as she put it, going “topless.”

Rowe asked a question to the Lynx coach about how she had game-planned her team’s defense to contain the Sparks’ Nneka Ogwumike—who finished the game with 19 points, but had seven in the first quarter.

Reeve then turned the focus from the game to Rowe’s battle against breast cancer.

Well spoken, coach. We couldn’t have said it any better ourselves.
