Seattle is all dressed to the nines to host this year’s All-Star festivities in a few days. It looks like the Twin Cities are looking at the Emerald City with curious eyes.

Per a report out the Minneapolis Star Tribune, Glen Taylor who owns the Lynx and the NBA’s Timberwolves, has submitted a bid to the WNBA for the 2018 All-Star Game to held at a renovated and refurbished Target Center.

Taylor described it as the “right time” to put the Twin Cities on center stage.

This is a team that is winning with the great players we have. We have a new practice facility and the Target Center. Just everything. There is a lot to show off.

How perfect would that be? The Target Center would be finished, all ready to go. That would work pretty well, don’t you think?

A decision from the league could come between this year’s All-Star break and the fall on where the 2018 All-Star Game would be held.
