Mystics executive joins Board of Directors for NYC-based charity organization

Delivering Good, a New York City-based 501(c)(3) organization announced seven new members to its Board of Directors with one of them being well versed within the WNBA family.

The executive in question is Sashi Brown, the Chief Planning and Operations Officer of Monumental Sports & Entertainment’s basketball properties – which includes the Washington Mystics as well as the NBA’s Wizards, G-League’s Capital City Go-Go and NBA 2K League’s Wizards District Gaming.

The others joining Delivering Good’s Board include Gordon Bell (Executive Vice President for the Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation), Monica Bertran (Bloomberg Television), Kenneth Downing of the Triple Five Group, Charisse Ford Hughes (Global Chief Marketing Officer for Kellogg Company), Jeanette Nostra-Katz (Senior Advisor at the G-III Apparel Group) and Emily Olah (Senior Director at Olah, Incorporated).

Delivering Good’s website describes it as a “charity of choice for new product donations made by hundreds of companies in the fashion, home and children’s industries.” It was originally founded in the 1980s and in 2014 became the product of a merger between two charities – K.I.D.S. (Kids in Distressed Situations) and Fashion Delivers.
