New season. New players. New logo. New slogan.

New look.

In advance of the recently completed WNBA Draft, the league and its apparel partner Nike unveiled brand new uniforms for all 12 teams.

One version of the new Nike uniforms is the Icon edition, which more than likely will be the primary home jersey all 12 teams will sport. The front of the jerseys includes Nike and AT&T logos as the WNBA just inked a major sponsorship deal with the telecommunications giant.

Eleven of the 12 teams are also including their secondary logos on the front of the jerseys with the exception being the Connecticut Sun.

The Statement Edition jerseys – likely mostly used for road games – follow the same script. One thing that probably caught lots of people’s eyes about the jerseys is that the numbers are now only on the back instead of being on the front and back.

The Atlanta Dream’s jerseys feature both a version of their primary and secondary logos on the front. The Las Vegas Aces take the more traditional route with the team name on the Icon (home) jersey and “Las Vegas” on the Statement (road) version. The New York Liberty’s new jerseys appear to be a throwback to the early stages of the Libs.

In August, every team will host a Breast Health Awareness game where they will wear a special-edition gray and pink jersey.

The new jerseys will be available on WNBAStore.com the day of tipoff of the regular season – May 24. That day, the Atlanta Dream will host the Dallas Wings at State Farm Arena and the Indiana Fever will face the New York Liberty at Westchester County Center.
