As the 2018 WNBA season progresses, a top storyline that W fans will be keeping a close eye on from start to finish will be who will emerge as the new owner of the New York Liberty as James Dolan and Madison Square Garden has put the team on the market.
An Associated Press report courtesy of Doug Feinberg says a couple of the groups interested in bidding for the black and statue green were in attendance at the Westchester County Center when the Liberty faced the Minnesota Lynx.
WNBA president Lisa Borders, who was also in attendance for the game, told the AP that she saw Brandon Steiner, a New York-based sports memorabilia figure and businessman, also in attendance along with other groups.
Steiner Sports is most notable in Gotham sports circles for being closely connotated with the New York Yankees.
