The WNBA always features a notable presence in some way, shape, or form, throughout the All-Star weekend staged by its big brother league. This season will be no exception.

On Friday night, the All-Star Celebrity Game will emanate from the Los Angeles Convention Center and among the participants will be the Los Angeles Sparks’ Candace Parker and the Chicago Sky’s Stefanie Dolson.

Parker also was part of last year’s All-Star Celebrity Game in New Orleans along with Lindsay Whalen.

As basketball fans know, the Celebs Game typically features athletes (such as Parker and Dolson) who can ball, former players who may still have it, and a cavalcade of celebrities who sometimes dream about themselves giving their best Sheryl Swoopes or Tina Thompson impressions.

Dolson will be part of “Team Clippers” who will be coached by Katie Nolan while Parker will be with “Team Lakers” coached by Rachel Nichols.

Also among the celebrities who will take part – Common, Jamie Foxx, Paul Pierce, Nick Cannon, Tracy McGrady, and Drew Scott.

In the second half of the game, there will also be the first-ever four-point line which will resemble the “ridges” in Ruffles’ potato chips – the NBA’s official chip.

This. Should. Be. Good.
