If one wants a great experience when going to a sporting event, a new study shows that the W is a good choice.
A report by the Temkin Group studied nine areas of fan experience and which leagues rank high or low in terms of said experience.
The study showed that the WNBA received the highest marks for five of those nine categories – parking, using the bathroom, food purchasing, purchasing souvenirs, and departing the arena.
For all of the conversation that the NFL receives about it being the most popular sport, it is clear that fans do not exactly feel they have good experiences going to NFL games, according to this study. It received the lowest satisfaction scores for eight of the nine categories examined by Temkin.
