Tamika Catchings’ career in the WNBA may have come to a close, but her commitment to community service has nowhere near reached its conclusion.

This Saturday, the WNBA champion and Olympic gold medalist will host a clinic and luncheon at Houghton College, located in New York’s Southern Tier.

The clinic will be the first item for the event as the Houghton athletics staff, along with Catchings, will provide instruction on shooting and rebounding as well as conditioning drills. Those in attendance will also receive a t-shirt.

Afterwards, a luncheon will occur followed by Q&A and autograph sessions.

As a leader, she exemplifies a strong work ethic, commitment, reliability, and faith. I am over the top excited to have her on Houghton’s campus at the end of the month.
