A signature business move for Lisa Borders in her second season as WNBA president – last season – was when the league signed a Daily Fantasy Sports agreement with New York City-based FanDuel.

Both sides apparently liked what they saw and are coming back for more.

Earlier this week, both FanDuel and the WNBA announced an extension of their agreement. Included in the deal are single-game contest, giving a daily fantasy element to every game.

FanDuel will also stream select games, and users will be able to follow and pick their fantasy teams all in one place.

The topic of how sports gambling will help women’s basketball – including the WNBA – has gained increased attention since the 5-4 Supreme Court decision which legalized sports gambling nationwide.

Mystics/Monumental Sports owner/CEO Ted Leonsis said during the offseason that the W could be helped if fans were able to place bets on games from the stadia themselves.
