While there are still a number of noteworthy free agents out there, the dust is beginning to settle on the WNBA’s free agent signings with only a few happening per day.

There was one signing that Las Vegas Aces fans will be pleased with. On top of the signings of Angel McCoughtry and Danielle Robinson, Dan Padover and Bill Laimbeer’s team re-upped with veteran point guard Sugar Rodgers.

Rodgers was part of the 2013 Minnesota Lynx team that won that season’s championship. She also is a 2017 All-Star and participated in the 3-point contest at the All-Star Game in Seattle. She has played under Laimbeer for much of her career as he was Rodgers’ coach during her tenure with the New York Liberty.

She played just under 12 minutes last season on a star-studded Aces squad that will once again feature a healthy collection of stars. Rodgers averaged just over three points per game in 2019.
