We were covering lots of ground in Minneapolis for the All-Star Game, as further evidenced by our chat with the Dallas Wings’ Liz Cambage!
For those that may have forgotten, this is the same Liz Cambage that now holds a WNBA record for most points scored in a game when she dropped 53 on the New York Liberty.
We caught up with her about the significance of holding such an illustrious record, when she first came in the league when the Wings were in Tulsa with the Shock, playing alongside Skylar Diggins-Smith, and the possibility of the Wings making this year’s postseason.
Cambage also spoke a bit on her role as a mentor for some of the younger Wings players.
