There is little question after last year that the Dallas Wings got themselves a good one when they drafted Allisha Gray out of South Carolina last season. She was an important piece in the Wings making their first ever playoff run in Dallas and Gray herself won Rookie of the Year honors.
Now, Gray hopes to give back to her community by hosting a basketball camp. Gray says, per WRDW-TV Channel 12 in Augusta that the idea for the camp happened particularly rapidly.
I mean, not this early in my career, but just to have the privilege of doing it, I’m very thankful for everybody that’s been part of my career. So, to give back to my community is definitely a great feeling.
–Allisha Gray
Gray’s camp will be free and available to any girl who wishes to take part. All one has to do is email Gray at [email protected].
