Prior to when the 2020 season tipped off at the Florida wubble, the Miami-based Distinction Agency announced it had signed Indiana Fever veteran Erica Wheeler to a marketing contract. The firm has marketing arrangements with both Wheeler as well as with Tiffany Bias.
Distinction can now add another from the WNBA ranks to its list as it has inked a new deal with Betnijah Laney of the Atlanta Dream.

Laney’s on-court portfolio got a massive boost this year at the wubble. She played in all 22 games for the Dream and averaged 17.2 points, nearly five rebounds and four assists per game. Her performance earned her Most Improved Player honors from the Associated Press.
Her off-court portfolio has included forays into modeling – as have that of many of the W’s best and brightest. She was a brand ambassador for Chicago-based Model Atelier during her tenure with the Sky.
