Target Center is not only a venue that plays host to the four-time WNBA champion Lynx and this year’s WNBA All-Star Game.
It, of course, is a hot destination as a concert venue given it is one of several major arenas in the major metropolis that is the Twin Cities.
That is why it caught the eye of Billboard, which put Target Center among its 20 venues to be on the lookout for in 2018.

Another venue that is on the list that may have caught the eyes of WNBA fans – Wintrust Arena in Chicago. It of course will play host the Chicago Sky starting with this season and is also the home of DePaul women’s and men’s basketball.
The Sky will be in the first season of a five-year deal to play basketball at Wintrust Arena which was built as an extension of McCormick Place (the country’s largest convention center) at Chicago’s South Loop.
Other venues that made the cut included FedEx Forum in Memphis, Little Caesar’s Arena in Detroit, Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, and Nassau Coliseum on Long Island.
