It will not be long before NWSL soccer will be on its way to the City of Angels.
The team – which officially announced itself as Angel City FC – has received financial assistance from a litany of noteworthy celebrities.
One of those noteworthy celebrities – the Los Angeles Sparks’ Candace Parker.
She and her daughter Lailaa are among those who will have that financial stake in Los Angeles’ NWSL team.

Angel City FC is scheduled to make its on-pitch debut in 2022.
And while it is an exciting next step for Parker and family, it may have some Atlanta Dream fans disappointed as it could be a sign she will stay with the Sparks. Dream fans are hoping her work with Turner Sports may lure her to the ATL in free agency.
