At Nassau Coliseum last night, history was made as WWE staged its first-ever all-women’s pay-per-view, WWE Evolution which aired on the WWE Network.
It was only apropos that a few of the WNBA’s notables was on hand in a display of women supporting other women.

Chiney Ogwumike was not the only WNBA luminary on hand for the groundbreaking event at Nassau Coliseum. As the event was in the New York area, after all, it was fitting that a healthy contingency of New York Liberty figures were there to ‘show up.’
Among those were Swin Cash, Teresa Weatherspoon, and Shavonte Zellous.
#WWEEvolution is the first WWE pay-per-view to consist solely of women's matches and @SwinCash, @SZellous1 and @Finisher_11 got to be a part of it! Thank you @WWE and @StephMcMahon for allowing us to take part in such a historical event #ShowUp🗽 pic.twitter.com/77NBaxfBww

Hopefully, WWE giving its women the chance to shine at their own event will become a regular thing.
