The WNBA is filled with talented women that, in addition to showcasing their skills on the court, do the same in the booth as well.
Essence Carson and Jantel Lavender were among plenty within the W’s ranks to delve into the musical waters. Now, we can add Courtney Williams to said list.
Williams (stage name Monae) has alread released her first song, titled ‘Coco,’ which, she says on Instagram, is an ode to her best late friend, Nicoya Jackson.
Jackson and a friend were killed in a car crash in southeastern Georgia after being struck by a drunk driver in 2017.
