A titan of sports journalism was lost on Thursday when Turner Sports announced the news that Craig Sager, a mainstay of basketball coverage, including on NBA on TNT, passed away at the age of 65 years old after a lengthy bout with leukemia.
It is rare that the entire sports landscape eventually holds still for the passing away of a member of the media—unless that member of the media is that beloved. That is Craig Sager’s legacy.
RIP Craig Sager
