She and her mixes can be heard locally in Dallas on radio station KKDA-FM K104. She DJ’s for the Dallas Wings, the Dallas Mavericks, and at certain events that feature Skylar Diggins-Smith.
But this past weekend at NBA All-Star Weekend, everyone found out exactly who DJ Poizon Ivy is as she provided the soundtrack to the festivities as its official DJ.
Born as Ivy Awino in Africa, she has certainly come a long way in her career. From working with some of hip-hop’s premier artists to landing DJ’ing gigs with two of the Metroplex’s most popular teams, the All-Star festivities served as another big step for her as a rising star herself.
.@PoiZonivytheDJ, official DJ of the @dallasmavs & the 2018 #NBAAllStar game, will make history by becoming the first woman in history to provide the musical soundtrack to the big game. Check out her top tracks for the big game: https://t.co/yEjSz5TLPOhttps://t.co/BCpIq8g84Q
