Swoosh.
Our @EmmaMeesseman signs an endorsement deal with NIKE!!!
This @Nike deal was totally earned after her incredible season in 2019! You left your mark Emma!
Now on to the next challenge! 💪🏻#emmameesseman #mvpfinalswnba #wnbachampion #euroleaguewinner #belgiancat #roadtotokio pic.twitter.com/3PFHLI3QMl— Atticus Sports Mngt (@AtticusSM) February 3, 2020
The former is usually the sound we hear after Emma Meesseman attempts a shot.
The latter – the new endorsement deal she signed with Nike. Atticus Management, Meesseman’s agency, broke the news on Twitter.
Double E Double S definitely earned her Nike deal after her banner 2019. With Elena Delle Donne less than 100 percent because of a back injury, the Washington Mystics needed someone to step up in what was a grueling 5-game Finals with the Connecticut Sun.
Meesseman was the next woman up for the Mystics. In the series-deciding Game 5, she dropped 22 points (9-13 from the field), three rebounds, three assists and two steals en route to Finals MVP honors after missing the 2018 season to focus on representing the Belgian Cats in the 2018 FIBA World Cup.
.@EmmaMeesseman (22 PTS, 3 REB, 3 AST) showed out today when it mattered most! 🔥 #WatchMeWork #WNBAFinals pic.twitter.com/BqBVjSL77y

What we need from this is a sneaker. Imagine young girls in Belgium and in the Washington, D.C. metro shooting hoops in a pair of Meessemans.
