The Seattle Times has reported that Force 10 Sports, which owns the Seattle Storm, have inked a deal with the National Women’s Soccer League’s Seattle Reign to manage tickets, service operations, and some digital marketing initiatives for the soccer franchise.
Alisha Valavanis, the president and general manager of the Storm said that the deal makes plenty of sense given the Seattle sports landscape is becoming more competitive.
I do hope that we can show a model and put a model in place that is mutually beneficial to the smaller organizations.

The news comes at a period of turbulence for the NWSL after the announcement that the Boston Breakers had folded.
This is a really unique opportunity to partner with and bring on board another women’s professional sports organization that we believe the partnership can support.
Along with that deal, the Storm also signed a deal to manage public relations and consulting for Major League Rugby’s Seattle SeaWolves.
