Go OFF!! Elena Sets New Career-High w/ 45-Point Performance

You’ve been warned: Elena Delle Donne is out for blood!

Since the beginning of the season just a few short weeks ago, Sky Forward Elena Delle Donne has been a force to be reckoned with and the front-runner in the MVP race, averaging 31.6 ppg and already has 3 consecutive double-doubles under her belt.

Last night, she continued to light up the court in a thrilling OT 100-96 win over the Atlanta Dream. Not only did she set a new career-high by scoring 45pts, she also set a new record for the most consecutive free throws made in a game at 19 (previously held my Dream’s Angel McCoughtry), and has scored a total of 221 points in the first 7 games of the season, the most in WNBA history. #IceCold
