The Connecticut Sun’s Jasmine Thomas hopes that her assists on the court can lead to an even bigger assist for children.

Currently, the initiative is more than halfway to its goal of $5,000, per the page on PledgeIt.com.
In addition to Thomas’ plan of donating money via assists she dishes out in game, it also comes with a few perks for those who also donate.
It includes for anyone who pledges at least $.15 per assist to be entered to win a Sun Nike shirt and signed basketball. For those that pledge $.50 per assist to be eligible to win a Thomas-signed shirt and shoes.
Thomas had five assists in the Sun’s 95-91 defeat to the Washington Mystics on ESPN2. What was notable about the game was Washington leading by as many as 30, but Connecticut still coming from behind to take the lead at points in the fourth quarter.
Thank you! We appreciate this so much. https://t.co/GAH98nnD3U
