Beginning on February 18 and lasting through February 21, Jr. NBA is collaborating with The Power of Girls for a four-day, free virtual girl power summit called “Her Time To Shine” for girls aged 11-16.
A wide list of speakers have been lined up for the four-day seminar that includes Ivory Latta and Jennifer Bradford, both former WNBA players. ESPN’s LaChina Robinson will also take part.
Among those also slated to attend include longtime Atlanta media personality Rashan Ali as well as author Kate T. Parker.
The Thursday and Friday events will occur in the early evening with the Saturday and Sunday events scheduled for the early afternoon.
The summit is designed to provide girls with tools and resources to help them become more self-aware, confident and well-rounded leaders through a series of panel discussions and interactive workshops.
