For the last two months, the eyes and ears of the political sphere were locked in on Georgia with two tight Senate races in that state that will determine if Democrats or Republicans control things in Congress’ upper chamber.
As of the morning after January 5, one of the races was called – for Reverend Raphael Warnock over Atlanta Dream co-owner Kelly Loeffler. The other, between Democrat Jon Ossoff and Republican David Perdue, has yet to be called but Ossoff maintains a slim lead.
Among the many who were fixated on Georgia was LeBron James. Yes, the LeBron James. As the Georgia results came in, he tweeted this.
Think I’m gone put together an ownership group for the The Dream. Whose in? #BlackVotesMatter✊🏾 pic.twitter.com/9wclgdED2w

Of course, King James has more than enough money to make the “dream” happen.
When backlash to Loeffler’s anti-Black Lives Matter comments over the summer reached a fever pitch, Baron Davis tweeted similar about rescuing the Dream from the clutches of Loeffler.
I will buy her interest !! She gotta go. https://t.co/IZYPcj26xd

Perhaps Davis can be part of that ownership group….
