The Los Angeles Sparks legend continues to rack up the accolades in her career and life after the W.
Lisa Leslie, head coach of the Big 3’s Triplets, was announced as the league’s Coach of the Year. She adds this achievement to her long list of accomplishments which include two WNBA championships, three WNBA MVP awards and four Olympic gold medals.
Leslie is in her first season as Triplets coach and coached the team to a 7-1 record.

Big 3’s Coach of the Year award has been bestowed upon a woman coach for the second consecutive season. Power’s Nancy Lieberman won those honors last year.
One of Leslie’s players, Joe Johnson, was also named Most Valuable Player.
Leslie will lead Triplets into Sunday’s Big 3 championship game at Staples Center when they take on Killer 3’s.
