As we know – sports is not only about what happens on the court, on the field, on the pitch or on the ice.
There is plenty that happens behind the scenes in corporate boardrooms of sports organizations. Kevin Durant’s “The Boardroom” is hosted by ESPN’s Jay Williams, streams exclusively on ESPN+ and is a joint production of ESPN and Thirty Five Ventures.
Season Two just dropped today with five new episodes. One of them is titled “Transferring Women’s Sports” that includes Los Angeles Sparks former great Lisa Leslie and New York Liberty current great Tina Charles along with Carli Lloyd of the United States Women’s National Soccer Team and Olympic gold medal-winning alpine skier Lindsey Vonn.
Now Available: Season 2 of @boardroom exclusively on ESPN+

The four sat down with Williams and talked about not only their careers, but how women’s sports has grown over the years. Other episodes include a discussion on how young African-Americans have to fight stereotypes that music and sports are their only two ways out of poverty and the intersection of sports with fashion.
One of those episodes features Rapsody, who did the theme song for the Liberty prior to the 2019 season.
