The Lynx announced yesterday that Knox received a promotion to become the franchise’s President of Business Operations. She has spent 12 seasons with the Lynx and 17 within the WNBA – including a marriage to coach and general manager Cheryl Reeve.
Knox is also part of the WNBA’s Diversity Hiring Task Force. A release says she will lead Lynx business initiatives such as service, tickets sales and being the middle-person between the team and league on matters related to business and marketing.
She has been a driving force in our efforts to develop a passionate fanbase while becoming a champion for social change. I look forward to her leadership as we prepare for the upcoming Lynx season.

That passionate fanbase got Minnesota to third in average attendance for the 2019 season – right behind the Los Angeles Sparks and Phoenix Mercury.
