The Dallas Wings are making major waves on the court and in the community with Skylar Diggins and others leading the way. They have also made a major move in its executive offices.
This week, the Wings named Mary O’Connor as its new President of Business Operations.
The upside of the WNBA in DFW is truly limitless and I’m eager to work with the organization and league to ensure the Dallas Wings become engrained as a vibrant and vital member of the incredible professional sports scene in the market.
–Mary O’Connor
Her resume includes working as the Senior Vice President of The Marketing Arm, a sports agency based in Texas. She also held several other positions within the firm. O’Connor also served as a consultant to the New York Times and in managerial and sponsorship positions with General Motors Corporation.
As a proven executive with extensive experience and broad understanding of the sports business and the DFW market, she is the ideal person to spearhead our effort to create a greater presence and accelerate our growth.
