A women’s college basketball and WNBA luminary will be among the newest members of the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts as Rebecca Lobo is among the 2017 Hall of Fame class.
Lobo was previously an inductee at the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame in Knoxville in 2010.
The announcement was made during a news conference at the NCAA Men’s Final Four in Glendale, Arizona. Lobo and the rest of the 2017 class will be enshrined into Springfield on September 8.
