When Renee Montgomery and her Atlanta Dream does battle against the other 11 squads, they will do so on the court of the Gateway Center Arena in College Park, a 10 or so minute drive or MARTA trip from downtown Atlanta and a hop, skip and jump shy of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport – the world’s busiest.
Her work in the offseason with the Atlanta Hawks G-League affiliate will help her become well acquainted with the Dream’s new digs.
Montgomery was announced as part of the broadcast team for the Skyhawks along with Matt Stewart, Jon Babul, and Carl Dukes – a former Houston radio personality who is now the co-host of “Dukes and (Mike) Bell” on WZGC-FM 92.9 The Game.

The team also recently announced a new partnership with local Meredith Corporation stations CBS 46 WGCL and Peachtree TV WPCH for Skyhawks contests. Peachtree TV was previously the local station for the national TBS cable network.
College Park is at 3-3 on the season and picked up its first home victory – a 101-96 win over the Long Island Nets.
