Newsflash – that Sabrina Ionescu is pretty good.
This award goes to the outstanding male and female amateur athletes with a state of Oregon background— high school, college or by residency— whose accomplishments brought credit to the state.

Even though she has New York on the brains, she will always be a household name out west in Oregon. Her latest honor – being named the 2020 Female Amateur Athlete of the Year at this year’s Oregon Sports Awards.
It is the third time Ionescu has won the award.
It was a guarantee that one of the Ducks would win said award as the other two nominees were her teammates Ruthy Hebard (Chicago Sky) and Satou Sabally (Dallas Wings).
