The 19 regional sports channels are slated to be rebranded sometime prior to April. Out of those regional sports channels, five of them are WNBA broadcasters.
The Arizona-based channel airs Phoenix Mercury games, the South/Southeast-based channel re-upped with the Atlanta Dream last season after airing on WSB-TV’s digital platform in 2019. The Dallas Wings air on the Southwest-based channel. The Indiana Fever air its games on the Indiana-based channel and the Minnesota Lynx’s games air on the North-based channel.
Sports Business Daily has reported Bally’s will pay Sinclair $85 million over a decade for the naming rights.
