The 5th annual YWCA Metropolitan Chicago New Look of Leadership fashion show was held at the Macy’s location on State Street—and among those that were part of it was a familiar figure to Chicago Sky fans.
Amber Stocks, who was named head coach and general manager of the Chicago Sky back in December, was among those who attended. A former Sparks assistant, she filled the position after Pokey Chatman departed for the Fever head coaching gig.
According to the YWCA Chicago Facebook page, the event highlights local business luminaries who advance the causes of racial equality and women empowerment while also showcasing current fashion trends.

It says it is the largest provider of sexual assault services in the state of Illinois and also in charge of the state’s largest child care resource and referral program.
It also states it provides various business, career, and financial services to help its members achieve economic stability and acquire training to enter lucrative job fields.
