Texas may be the Lone Star State, but recently, Dallas gave a rousing welcome to its latest major sports star.
Skylar Diggins was thrown a “Welcome to Dallas” party which was hosted by Roc Nation Sports as well as by Villa, a Philadelphia-based sneaker chain with several locations across the Metroplex.

Many came out in full force to support her and the Dallas Wings team. Some of Diggins’ teammates were in attendance as well, including Odyssey Sims and Plenette Pierson. There was even a sighting by Wings coach Fred Williams.
The Wings’ official DJ, DJ Poizon Ivy, was also on hand.
Diggins is close to making a full return to action on the basketball court, and judging by this event, when she does make a full return to the hardwood, it is sure to bring smiles to the faces of many a basketball aficionado in North Texas.
