Financially, inking a sneaker deal can be one of the most lucrative moves that a star athlete can make. Candace Parker is one of the main athletes under the Adidas umbrella, and Elena Delle Donne recently launched a signature shoe as well.
A writer for the website SoleCollector.com that covers all things kicks contends that Maya Moore also deserves her own signature shoe. Moore, in 2011, inked a deal with the Jordan Brand and has released several variations of Maya Moore sneakers with said brand.

The writer contends Moore has yet to be given the opportunity to lead her own sneaker line and also points out Nike taking over apparel rights for the WNBA starting this upcoming season. Said writer also stated that Moore represents everything Jordan’s Jumpman is supposed to represent given she is one of the most winningest players in WNBA history with three championships and two Olympic gold medals.
