The Los Angeles Sparks announced that they will begin operating on a new ticketing platform and enlisted the services of a New York-based software company to transition the date from the old method to the new method.

KORE Software is the aforementioned software outfit. It has offices in both New York and London and a number of sports teams and leagues use its software to manage data – including the WNBA, NBA, Mounumental Sports (Washington Mystics), Madison Square Garden (New York Liberty), Learfield Sports and IMG.

The software firm has offices in London, Hong Kong, and Vancouver in addition to its main office in New York City.

According to a press release, the Sparks’ switch to KORE will give the team the opportunity to conduct a deeper analysis of who their fans. It claims reports that used to take hours will be completed in a matter of minutes.

I’m thrilled that our ticket operations department is continuing to innovate and use technology that elevates our organization and builds upon our company wide strategy to give our fan base an incredible experience.

–Christine Simmons, LA Sparks President and COO

Having the Sparks on board will further strengthen the community for all of our customers as we continue to share best practices and elevate the use of data across the industry.

–Brandon Crossley, KORE Software VP of Fan Data
