There will certainly be a different look to the 2017 rendition of the Chicago Sky—and viewers to a popular local television show in the Second City got to see one of the reasons why.
Stefanie Dolson, who the Sky acquired in the Elena Delle Donne trade to Washington, appeared on WLS-TV’s Windy City Live to talk about the season and adjusting to life in Chicago.
So excited. So happy for the season to start.
–Stefanie Dolson
It’s a great atmosphere and just a great chance for us to play for the fans of Chicago.
Dolson also had a surprise in store for the live studio audience at Windy City Live—tickets to the Sky’s home opener, which is May 19 at the Allstate Arena vs. the Atlanta Dream.
On adapting to life in the City of Broad Shoulders…
So far, it’s great. The weather’s been beautiful. Last time I came it was snowing, and I heard you guys get a little bit of snow.

In addition, the show’s hosts also brought up her time at UConn as well as that infamous moment in 2014 at the White House when she slipped off the risers as the Huskies were honored by President Obama that year for winning dual national championships for women’s and men’s basketball.
