WNBA all-time great and current New Orleans Pelicans vice president of basketball operations Swin Cash can add another bullet point by her already extensive resume.

The USA Basketball Foundation, which was established in 2019, announced that she will be one of five members of its five-person board of directors. USA Basketball Foundation board members serve four-year terms.

The inaugural board also includes Brent Baumberger (chief financial officer of USA Basketball), David Denenberg (NBA’s senior vice president of global media distribution and business affairs), JoAn Scott (NCAA’s men’s basketball managing director) and Sage Steele (ESPN).

The USA Basketball Foundation is fueled by a vision of strong communities, empowered leaders and inspired youth. With the return of professional basketball just around the corner, we are excited to get programming underway and look to harness the power, passion, influence and global reach of USA Basketball to advance society through a lifetime commitment to communities, players, families, coaches and fans.
